ALLERGIC RHINITIS: A COMMON COMORBIDITY OF ASTHMA
Up to 80% of asthmatic patients have allergic rhinitis6,11,18-20

ALLERGIC RHINITIS CAN MAKE ASTHMA WORSE

Data from clinical and epidemiologic studies indicate:
Allergic rhinitis significantly worsened asthma21,22

** A posthoc resource use analysis of a 52-week, double-blind, multicenter clinical trial (IMPACT [Investigation of Montelukast as a Partner Agent for Complementary Therapy]) of 1490 adults with chronic asthma aged 15–72 years.
